What kinds of things should I include on my resume?

Answered By Carl Turnbuckle, Editor

Resume is one absolute thing that would help you get that position. It embodies your personality and would let the potential employer know you. Of course, among the most important things to include is your name, your whereabouts including your number and e-mail address. Also mention therein the schools you have attended and list the honors you received if there's any. If you have been employed before don't forget to have it placed in your resume. You may also include the special skills that you think may help you in getting the employer's attention. While others don't require it, it is still sometimes important to place some references in case the employer would want to check on the information you've mentioned. One of the main objectives of a resume is to impress a potential employer so better make it one.
