On Choosing A CareerBy VMT Singuillo Since childhood, many of us have been made to think that we need to study hard, and have a career in life. Of course, we choose a career to make a living. Although most of us choose a career from what we want to do, it is also important to note that the financial aspects of a chosen career should be taken into consideration. Or maybe, you choose a certain career because of the financial gains. However, close consideration should always be made. For example, you have heard of people changing careers in adulthood due to some crisis. You might have chosen a career where you want to do something passionately but your earnings cant even make buying a car affordable to you, or perhaps with your current job, you cant even afford to send your children to a good school you want. Perhaps, you might also be earning a lot right now. But you are not happy with your present job. Remember that poem that says to love your job? In that poem, it says to love your job. If you dont love your job, it will take too much energy for you to accomplish something out of a job you dont want. While if you love your work, you cant even feel it is a work at all. Somehow, making a prudent choice for a particular career is a serious matter. Would you like to go into pharmaceutical sales? Or maybe become a law enforcement officer? The choice is for you to make.
